Kimberly Worth

Ms. Worth works with the firm’s litigation practice representing clients in Atlanta and throughout Georgia and the nation in federal and state trial and appellate courts. While she has broad experience litigating diverse matters, she focuses primarily on commercial and business litigation, construction disputes, personal injury and tort law. Ms. Worth also prosecutes and defends claims brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and other employment related statutes and accepts select criminal defense representations.
Ms. Worth has extensive litigation experience in and out of the court room. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Worth was a senior associate with Parks, Chesin and Walbert, where she was responsible for employment and civil rights litigation with an emphasis on commercial law and complex business transactions. After working with Parks, Chesin & Walbert, she gained extensive experience defending labor and employment claims and class action lawsuits brought in public accommodation cases and civil rights lawsuits. Ms. Worth has secured numerous jury verdicts and out of court settlements for clients in cases ranging from breach of contract to sexual harassment.
Prior to re-entering private practice, Ms. Worth served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney for Fulton County, Georgia. Ms. Worth was assigned as the lead prosecutor to Senior Judge Doris Downs’ courtroom. Ms. Worth never failed to obtain a conviction on all trials for which she was sole/ lead counsel.
Ms. Worth has also served as Adjunct Professor of Law for John Marshall Law School during their review for accreditation status where she taught evidence, legal writing and criminal procedure. |
